Sunday Dinner

We were finally able to get the true feel of an American 4th of July last Sunday. Rob has a guy in his MBA program that is a member and working for the Coast Guard. His name is Steve Detton. He has a beautiful family and a house that looks like it belongs on the mainland. His wife, Shelly, is a great cook and artist, and their kids, Hyrum, Eliza, and Hazel, are cute and have a lot of energy. They've invited us over to their home a few times for dinner and it's always been a great occasion. On Sunday we had a good old fashioned barbeque, complete with hotdogs, hamburgers, watermelon, and brownies with ice cream. It was a tasty memory that made us feel like we were back in Utah.

Thanks for posting. I love to see how you guys are doing. I'm glad you guys are so smart and are doing so many fun things while you are in Hawaii. I'm guessing you are going to miss it just a little when you are not living there anymore. :) We are so excited to see you next month. Hurray! I'm sure Boston will love you, he sure is growing up fast.

Stef,
Can't wait to see you and Rob. Fun pictures. You will be so glad you have them when you are freezing somewhere in China.
Could you please bring those board shorts for Matt?

HOoray for China. What fun adventures. Sorry we didnt see each other before we both took off. Stay away from the scorpions on a stick, I dont care if the Chinese call them a delicacy.
